BAUER & CUSTOM SKATES

Oli's Skate Shop specialises in converting Bauer Ice Hockey skates into Quad Skates. We pride ourselves on being able to give you the choice to customise your skates by choosing plates, wheels, bearings, and accessory options to suit how you roll!

Many skaters have fond memories of Bauer Turbo 33 skates, which are sadly no longer produced. The Bauer Turbos were made from 1976 to 1994 when Nike purchased Bauer and discontinued the hard plastic shell boot in favour of rigid one-piece boots. The Bauer boots are only available in half sizes but are designed to fit the whole size below it, and boxes are labelled as such, e.g., a 10.5 boot is suitable for a UK shoe size 10. Packages supplied with Ventro coloured laces will also include the standard Bauer laces in the box. Ventro laces are 200cm and shorter than the Bauer laces but suitable for any quad skater who doesn't lace fully to the top.
